FG Continues To Expand The National Social Register NSR - Get Involved
According to NASSCO, the Nigeria’s social protection framework continues to expand, with the National Social Register (NSR) now covering over 77 million individuals and more than 20 million households nationwide. The Register serves as the foundation for targeted and transparent social interventions across the country.
Dr. Funmi Olotu, National Coordinator of NASSCO, said the Register strengthens coordination, reduces duplication, and ensures that social investments reach poor and vulnerable households more effectively.

The National Social Safety-Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO) was established in 2016 by the Government of Nigeria in partnership with the World Bank to strengthen Social Safety nets and Social Protection system in Nigeria as a core strategy to help end extreme poverty and to promote shared prosperity.
